November
“RISE AND SHINE LAZYBONES, IT’S TIME TO GET YOUR BUTT OUT OF BED!”
Ginny jolted awake, overwhelmed by the bright dawn light streaming in through the window and the disembodied mouth shouting at her from the foot of the bed.
“WELL LOOK WHO’S FINALLY DECIDED TO JOIN US!” it exclaimed.
Gradually regaining control of her senses, she grabbed her wand and started bombarding it with spells, hoping to hit on the right one by chance. “Illiajus! Tendo Octurnum! Feridae Pelio!”
“HAHA, FORGET THE MAGIC WORD?” it taunted.
“Reducto!” came the shout from another bed

Hermione walked into the Great Hall to find Ginny already there, working her way through a veritable tower of pancakes.
“Someone’s hungry this morning,” she commented.
“Tryouts are today. Gotta keep up my energy,” Ginny answered in between bites. Not like you would know, she thought. You’ve never played a sport in your life. Probably never will, I bet you’re too big for a broom to lift off the ground anyhow.
Though an exaggeration, Hermione had definitely put on more weight. Despite her second, larger uniform already growing snug, she failed to learn her lesson, and even as she critici

September
The Hogwarts Express rumbled down the tracks, smoke billowing from its stack as it raced across the English countryside. Inside, Hermione, Ginny, and Luna were seated in a compartment. It had been easier than usual to get one to themselves this year, as the Battle of Hogwarts had taken a heavy toll. Some parents were still afraid, and kept their children home, others (largely from Slytherin) wanted no part of the institution anymore and declined to attend, and some seats were empty because the student it waited for had given their life defending it. The unusual quiet that permeated the train was deafening, and everyone, even norma

“Bon appétit, mon chérie d’amour,” Bill said, placing a platter of cheesy scrambled eggs on the table in front of his wife next to the sausage and bacon.
“Oh Bill, this looks delicious,” she praised. “And your accent is much better.”
“So is yours, dear,” he returned as he sat down.
As they loaded up their plates with food, it became clear who was hungrier. Fleur had twice as many eggs, and for every sausage link or bacon strip on Bill’s plate were three on her own. Taking a bite, Fleur was astonished at how good it was. Bill used to only cook on special occas

“Are you sure you want to go back to Hogwarts, Hermione?” Ron asked over dinner at the Burrow one evening. “You get a dozen owls a day with job offers.” As if to confirm this, one such owl flew in the window just then and dropped a letter on her lap.
“Yes, Ron, we’ve been over this,” she replied as she tore open the envelope. “I’m not going to abandon my education just because ‘Famous Frank’s Broom Bazaar’ is pleased to offer a position to ‘A witch of my calibre, both magically and physically’.” She quoted, tearing the letter and throwing

The Weasley Weight Gain Curse: Prologue
The joint wedding of Harry and Ginny Potter, and Ron and Hermione Weasley was the magical event of the summer. Only a month ago, the Battle of Hogwarts had claimed the lives of dozens of wizards, including children. The wedding marked the first time in too long that the wizarding community could celebrate without the threat of Voldemort hanging over their heads.
Due to the couples’ celebrity nature, the ceremony was held at a location secret to the public. However, this didn’t stop it from including all the hundreds of friends and family of the brides and grooms, even including a few non-wizards such as the Grangers and A
